    Meet our presenter

    Dr Albert Sharp

    Dr Albert Sharp received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney, graduating with First Class honours and top of the year. He is a partner at Penn Sharp Dental Surgeons in Double Bay, Sydney, where he continues to practice all aspects of general dentistry.

    Dr Sharp is the General Manager Clinical at Southern Cross Dental. He often presents courses to enable general dentists to provide the best possible outcome for their patients.

    Dr Sharp was one of the first general dentists in Australia to be accredited for treating patients with the Invisalign System and for many years was the primary presenter for the Invisalign Training Course for GP dentists. Dr Sharp is in clinical practice at his surgery in Double Bay, Sydney. He has tried many aligner systems to see what works best with each.

    How long does the course take to complete?

    The TrioClear® Fundamentals Online Course is designed to be completed at your own pace and provides 7 CPD points. You can complete the course in one focused session or work through the modules in shorter sessions when it suits your schedule.

    How long will I have access to the course?

    You will have access to the course for 12 months from the date of enrolment. During this time, you can log in through LearnWorlds and complete the modules at your own pace.

    How many CPD points will I receive?

    You will receive 4 CPD points upon successful completion of the TrioClear® Fundamentals Online Course. Once you have completed the required learning activities, your CPD certificate will be available for your records.

    Do I need clear aligner experience before enrolling?

    No. The course is designed for general dentists who want to build their knowledge and confidence with clear aligner therapy and the TrioClear® Progressive Clear Aligner System.

    The course introduces key clear aligner concepts, including the basics of orthodontics, case suitability, case submission, treatment planning, issuing, monitoring, troubleshooting and retention.

    Will I receive support for my first case?

    Yes. After completing the course, you’ll be able to take the next step with TrioClear® and access support from the TrioClear® Australia and New Zealand team as you prepare and submit your first suitable case.

    Can I revisit the modules after completing the course?

    Yes. As long as your course access remains active, you can return to the modules and revisit the content when you need a refresher.
